Stocksbridge Junior School

On the 23rd of March Y5 performed a Greek assembly. All the y5’s had a part, Peta Potter (Thomas) was the star, he sold lots of pots and told story’s about them. There where 9 different songs the best song i think was Dancing round the mountain! It was really funny and the best part was the song with Zeus (Callum) Jumping out with a microphone (he looked like the new Elvis presley! 

Yet again SJS is holding the annual Easter egg competition. You have to think of a theme, boil an egg and design a scene  with your egg in it, the best one will win an easter egg. Some children have done things like egg band, eggcelent holiday and even one named after places and holidays e.g. eggaria (Bulgaria).There will be three winners and they will get one egg each, if they did it with more than 1 person then they have to split the egg between them. There has been many enteries and many different ides but they are magnificent and a vast improvement from last year.
