Girls Football Team MATCH!!!

March 26, 2007 · No Comments

On Monday 19th March 2007 Y6 and Y5 girls team played a match in the freezing cold weather!!

There was 9 girls 8 playing (1 sub); but they took turns in being the subs! We were against one of the best teams in our league from Sacard Heart. As usual, the team was late due to taffic and that their school is quite far away from our school. We kicked off about 4:30 pm. Sacrad Heart Started with the ball but about 5 seconds after M.L Stole the ball and headed for their goal. Although M.L is a great player, their goalie showed great skill be saving the ball. 0-0

She kicked the ball down to our goal but luckly for O.B Stocksbridge had a pair of great defenders. They dribbled the ball down to the pitch and passed to the mid fielders.

Returning for revenge Sacrad Swooped the ball and Headed for our goal. Suprisingly our brill defenders were defated and it was up to O.B to save the goal.

She tried with all her might and saved it.

0-0.

Half time. We had a pep talk the it was the second half.

The second half was just like the first and so at the end the score was 0-0.
