Earlier this morning, a very special assembly was held- a pupil named Thomas.H, who has just moved up to High School and is my best friend, returned to school with the BBC, who last year had held a special hands on experience- BBC News and Sport on Tour. Thomas had tried being a weatherman, and had ended up recieving a very special trophe from the BBC! I am very proud of Thomas, and, as he said: “Wow!”

I like the girls football team I am in it the one thing that i would like to improve is the time limit.  We don’t have enough time to get ready and we only have twenty minutes to practise. We have it twice a week (Mondays and Fridays).  Most of my friends do it and they really like it. I think its fantastic!!!

I really like being the oldest year in the school because we get to do project leap with the year threes and it’s what i would like to do when i am older (working with children).

I do project leap with my two friends Sabrina and Courtney and we really enjoy doing it. We play lots of games with the year threes - I think their favourite game is tig and we really enjoy it two! I really enjoy doing it but i dont do it very much because there is alot of year sixes doing it aswell!

Being in year 6 is fantastic! You get to do all sorts of different things such as: be prefects, be in the athletics team and be the oldest year group in the school. When I was first in year 6, I thoght it would be realy hard and scary;but I was wrong! Ever since I was in year 6, I have felt a lot more confident! I tried out for the athletics team, I tried out for the y6 girls football team and guess what, I got into both of them! Being in year 6 is great!

As it’s writing week, the whole school is using their imagination as at the start at the week our deputy head showed us a picture that projected onto the big screen, so no-one had any excuses from seeing it! So far nearly every pupil had edited an opening for their story, you can read some year 6 openings on the year 6 narrative page of this blog.

On Saturday my three best friends (Natalie, Georgina and Alice) and I are going to Bolsterstone with the school choir. Afterwards Alice and I are going to a swimming Gala.
