Recently in year six we have been studying and creating miniture fairground rides in D.T and I.C.T. To start with we had to design our rides to get the main idea of they were going to look like. When we had created our design, we made and decorated the frame which held our ride together. Later on in the process (after we had finished decorating) we attatched our ride to a control box and created a flowchart using the computer program, Flowol. When we ran our flowchart, the ride span much faster than when we just used a battery powered circuit.

On our seed collecting trip we had to recognise diffrerent trees by rubbing on different trees. When we had finished, we walked down to the bench and collected fallen acorns. We carried our acorns back up the steep hill to school but the journey didn’t end there because we had to plant our acorns in compost. Our acorns are in the quad outside our classroom. Hopefully we will see them grow into oak trees.
